Somebody told me a while ago that it doesn’t rain very often in Finland. The amount of rainfall per year he said, was about the same as in the Netherlands, but the advantage you get in Finland is that 80% of that rainfall is snow!. Snow is good, but well, in June you won’t see a lot of that here in Finland, as it’s warmer (at least, that’s what you’d expect) and it’s light out for 20 hours a day.

I’m in Finland for a week and things all began well last Monday (22 degrees Celcius and quite sunny). But unfortunately, today, yesterday, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are not promising very good weather
. But then again, if I look at my Google personal page, I can see that it’s not that much better than in the Netherlands. I think I’m going to stay in the Hotel tonight
Unfortunately I have already finished the two things I had planned for this week. My blog has been ported to the latest Worpress (2.2) and it’s gotten a revamp. I’ve already finished the book I brought with me. Well actually, I didn’t finish it, because the book is terrible (in Dutch)!
