Running a business is great fun, but it has a couple of drawbacks. One is that it’s
extremely difficult to take a long holiday. Some people manage to get their three-weeks holiday every year, but I think they’re either acting irresponsibly, or their company is just a one-man show (and the show doesn’t have visitors). Since JTeam fortunately isn’t a one-man show (if it were, I wouldn’t have gotten so far) and although I can seem like an irresponsible jerk, I really am not!
I’ve had my days off this year, had a short break in Italy where I managed to do one whole week without email. Still it’s ages ago that I’ve had more than one week off and yes, this Christmas it’s going to happen! After working for about 60 hours a week for the last two-and-a-half months, I’ll be heading to Costa Rica in about 3 weeks. Me and a friend of mine (Lars) are leaving for San Jose on the 16th of December after which will pickup our 4wd (still have to rent one, we haven’t decided yet between the Nissan Terano or the Toyota Landcruiser ;)) and go for some surfing. I’ve never stood on a surf board without a sail, but I think I’ll manage.
We’ll be staying there until the 2nd of January. I’m curious how Christmas and stuff will be when it’s 30 degrees (Celcius).
Looking forward to it! If you have any places I shouldn’t miss, let me know!
